YATELEY MANOR
NATIONAL SCHOOLS CHAMPIONSHIP
2011-12
sponsored by Yateley Manor School http://www.yateleymanor.com

This year's competition is complete. The Finals were held at Uppingham School on 5th & 6th July 2012.

LOCAL ZONES
For a full list of entries Zone by Zone, together with summary results, see Local Zones further down. The entry was a disappointing 113 teams, rising to 114 with a new team in one of the Last Chance Saloons.

LAST CHANCE SALOONS
For teams that missed out on qualification from their Zones, or teams that did not enter at the Zonal stage, there were Last Chance Saloons on Sunday 5th February 2012 at Eton College and at King's School Chester.
Or should have been. The Eton College event was cancelled after heavy overnight snow, and a re-arranged event three weeks later got very nearly the same entry. For the results of both Saloons, see the foot of this page.

NATIONAL STAGE
For full match results in the National stage, see Detailed match results. In the summary below, an asterisk indicates a win on age handicap (or board count or elimination, if there is no handicap). Failing an asterisk, the higher-scoring team is the winner.
The Plate Finals suffered the withdrawal of QEGS Wakefield at one week's notice. They were replaced by a scratch team, made up of reserves from the other schools.
